Hope nobody minds. I know. I used to be the guy that said the hell with the draft - it's baseball season and hockey playoff time. However, the last couple of years I have started to get into the draft. It's beautiful moment when you think that every player your team picked is going to be great - which usually lasts till training camp.
Anyways, my Steelers have three picks in the first 50 so I am pretty excited. I'm looking for a offensive tackle or a cornerback with the 17th pick.

Sometimes there are sleepers that get overlooked. Mike Piazza was drafted in the 62nd round in baseball.

Steelers sitting on 32nd pick. Report is that no less than six teams have contacted them about trading for that pick. What is making teams so interested is that there are two quarterbacks who were possible first round picks still sitting there. Personally, I'd like to see them keep it and draft Joey Porter Jr. from Penn State. Not only is he a top cornerback is the draft but his father was a top player for the Steelers.

Draft is over. Very happy with my Steeler's draft.
Just a final note: Desjuan Johnson, DE Toledo was the last man drafted, which gives him the official designation of "mr. irrelevant." That has been a designation in the NFL for decades for the last player drafted. It's kind of strange in a way, considering that hundreds of college players are signed as rookie free agents, and thousands more never get the chance to try out for an NFL team at all. Probably made more sense when there were 18 rounds to the draft (there are now 7).
Anyways, good luck, Desjuan Johnson. Toledo is one of my alma maters.

The only thing the New York Jets get in the draft is a cold.

The only thing the New York Jets get in the draft is a cold. Ha Ha .. well, the Jets used a chunk of their draft capitol on an aging star QB. It remians to be seen how that works out.
