I know this one barkeep...I think. There was a either a Yankees, Dodgers, or NY Giants team in the WS. Win or lose. NY Giants only once though, sometime in the 50's I think. All NY related.
Did you know the Dodgers first series was just before WW2 and didn't return until the later 40's? In today's world they are considered "mighty", but historically the St.Louis Cards should hold that title in the NL.
The Yanks, of course, are the mightiest of all!

Yes Ken. For the rest of baseball it must have been boring. The Yankees definitely were the mightiest of all. But if today's Yankees fought the Civil War we would all be whistling Dixie.
